Help Contacts pictures?

After updating to 2.3 i can no longer place pictures with my contacts.
I imported them from my sim card. They are all there.
How ever i go into edit contact, choose a pic, crop it and then save it.
It either goes back to the contact edit page with no pic on it or it hangs and i have to force close the app.
Any ideas?

Works fine for me.

I think the problem is you imported from the SIM card, and now you are trying to update/add that picture to the SIM card.

You should do a Sync on gmail....then add the picture....then it should try and backup and save the contact information on the phone memory and online as opposed to on the SIM card.

I think the problem is that it is trying to add a picture to the SIM card (which probably isn't supported)
