Contacts Prep....

Forgive me if this is in the wrong forum im kinda new...

I have an LG voyager now ... and I understand that the droid does NOT Support Motorola's backup assistant.. but something called "google contacts"

How do i get the contacts I have now... over to google?... to prep for the droid when it comes ?
