Help Contacts question

Ok,

So my dad and I have the same name he goes by Tom and I by Tommy. When I save our contact information it puts all his info under my contact titled "Tommy." This is killing me b/c in gmail it is saved as seperate contacts but on my droid it keeps putting them together.

Any ideas on why this is happening and how to keep them separate?

When you edit the contact on your droid if you open the menu there is an option to separate.
