I work for Verizon so I've transfered many contacts today. The problem was, after the first sale, our Cellebrite (contact transfer machine) didn't have the Droid on it. I figured, "Maybe another android phone will work." I tried the HTC Magic and it worked flawlessly on 20 different Droids.
So just a heads up if your local Verizon's Cellebrite doesn't have the Droid updated in it's database, tell them to use the HTC Magic as the source phone.
