Help contacts with 2 letters not showing up in search

(example) i have multiple contacts with ms in front of their names, like ms jane, ms lewis ect, but not all of them will show up when i type in ms. The ones that do show up are ones like fishing ms belmar. On all of my old phones, when i type in say mi everything that had mi on my phone would show up. Is there a way to set up phone to look in certain places when searching.

My guess this will hold true for mr, mrs, dr, etc. They are considered titles and not really part of a persons name. You may want to experiment placing the title at the end of a name, use a dash instead of a space between the title and the persons first name, etc. Some weird combination may defeat the search recognizing it as a title.
