Welcome to android Forums, David.

My first question is why do you want to put your contacts on your sim card? sim contacts store minimal information and are no more secure than any other contacts.

In any case, you can use and app to do it. The one with the most positive reviews is Contacts2SIM Pro - Android app on AppBrain
