Can anyone tell me where in the system directory my contacts are stored? I've recently done a factory reset as a last resort to get rid of some contacts I no longer want but they just restored after the reset. How do I get rid of them? They don't appear in my contacts buy do if I create a text. Any ideas please

Disable contact syncing. Go to Google Contacts and delete them from there. Delete them from your phone. Reenable contact syncing.
