Help Continual Reboot

cavaughan

Lurker
Using a Motorola Atrix 2.
Several months ago the GPS functionality pretty much stopped working. It would work very sporadically, but now doesn't seem to work at all. Basis for this conclusion is that whenever I try to use the Navigator it continually tries to connect to a GPS satellite, but never can.

Recently Bluetooth has stopped working.

But the bigger problem is continual rebooting. If I reboot the device it will reboot over and over, I don't know how many times. But at some point it'll finally stop.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced a similar issue and whether it was resolved. Perhaps some app is causing this? Don't really want to do a factory reset on it, but seriously thinking about it at this point.

Since I've had the batteries out for extended periods many times, I finally went for the factory reset.
Seems to be working fine except for one very odd thing. The info bar at the top of the screen is no longer there. When I reboot it will appear. But as soon as I've had the screen off, it will be gone. No big loss, but strange.
