Does anyone know if there is a way like the iPhone where you can have this phone Continuously notify you say every 5 minutes you have a text message waiting?

I don't think the stock one does but I know when I was using gosms it would keep notifying me until I read the actual msg.

The closest is the notification bar albeit no sound. This will show the meassage until you clear the notification or read the message.

Cheers.

I also use GOSMS and it has the option to select continuous notifications every 2 minutes or so.

There's an app called SMS Enhancer which does this too, you might want to give that a look in?
