Control bar help - Galaxy Nexus

I hope this is not too stupid of a question but this is my first smartphone. When I first received my GNex there is a control bar on the bottom of the screen to the left of the home screen. There are 5 icons in it. The first turns WiFi on/off. The second to last looks like a refresh icon. The last controls the brightness.

What are the other two? The second one adds a new symbol above. Bluetooth??? The one in the middle, I have no idea.

A little help please?

Could be bluetooth or GPS.
