Controller working incorrectly

so I recently bought a controller for my phone(moto e5 cruise) and does respond but incorrectly. the controller is a 2.4ghz wireless f-360 gamepad. and it doesn't connect through Bluetooth. it connects through USB. any tips on how to get it working properly?

so are you saying it works sort of? or not at all? if it sort of works, does the controls need re-mapping?

otherwise you need a USB-OTG cable

I don't have an otg cable. plus the controller doesn't have any ports for me to plug it in.

and I believe it needs remapping but I'm not sure how

ok so i'm confused. the adapter plugs into your micro usb port, correct? the wireless dongle then plugs into the usb part of your usb adapter, correct?

I have a USB adapter for my phone. the controller operates wirelessly.
