Help Convert internal memory (FAT32 to NTFS)

Hi All,

My Samsung Galaxy S internal memory card is in FAT32 format. I have a 6 GB movie that I want to copy in my phone but since FAT32 has 4GB limitation, I want to ask if it is safe to convert my internal memory from FAT32 to NTFS?
