Is this possible? I'd assume flashing a sprint gs2 stock rom/modem would work... buy beyond that can the phone be activated on the network or will Sprint throw a hissy fit?
Generally speaking, no, you can't. It doesn't matter what firmware or modem you have, the phones ESN has to be registered to the carrier, and only they can do that. Your only hope is to call Sprint and keep asking until you magically get someone who is willing and able to switch the phone, or illegally flash a good Sprint ESN onto your phone.
