Converting MKV for the Droid X

Does anyone know a good way to convert .MKV for the Droid X, all the methods I normally use isn't working and the ones I find online are no better. I don't wanna download random programs with out user input on what they used.

Never mind I figured it out after my software worked
I used Format Factory(I love that software way to much)
I used a MPEG4(DivX) encode
video size was 854 x 480
bitrate 1024
fps 25
aspect ratio 16:9
