Hi.
I'm working on my first project which is creating a cookbook.
It should have an opening screen which leads to a list including 30 items (An icon, a title and a description in each item) and each "item" is a story involving cooking, and an option to skip the story straight to the ingredients and recipe itself.
I know how the application should look in my mind but I'm fairly new to Eclipse (I know basic Java and C# so coding is not new to me)
I've created an opening screen that has a TextView and a Button leading to the list. I've set the onListItemClick for each item to create a new activity.
If anyone knows how to get any further, or maybe knows how to make the design itself more appealing and user-friendly (And not just the regular eclipse layout design which is pretty basic), or knows how to configure that sweeping the finger from left to right and vice versa will go through the items on the list creating the illusion of a real book.
If anyone has any more ideas to add, anything at all to contribute and help me with, I'd be more than gladful.
