I think that app developers should go into the app store for the iphone and research their best games. Then theg should take their best games and make it for the andrpid. Then when they make it it should be free for the first day. This way it can get a lot of good reviews and ratings. Then there should be a price so that many people buy it. Then the app store makss money.

It seems like Android users are much less willing to pay for games. So this may not be such a good idea. I have been writing android apps for some time, and I have come to the conclusion that for android the market wants apps that have real usefulness. iPhone may be the only platform worth writing games for unless making money is not a goal.
I have 1 finance app and 2 games out there. The finance app has consistant sales increases month after month. The games on the other hand seem to have steady sales which slowly decrease over time. The feedback I get from users of the finance app is positive, is spite of a few small bugs. The feedback from the games is very clear, people want the world and they want it for free. The huge money maker Angry Birds is making peanuts on the Android market compared to iPhone, yet every day I hear news reports about Android overtaking iPhone in terms of number of users.
I love Android, but in terms of making money with Games, It sucks.
