Cool Galaxy Note 2 Features found in review videos

In anticipation of the impending release of the one of the best phones ever - the Galaxy Note 2, I thought that I would start a thread listing some of the coolest features found on the Note 2 that were spotted on review videos. I know I have watched a good number of them (I can't help it) and here are two things:

On the stock keyboard, there is an option for one-handed use. With this option selected, the keyboard moves to one side of the phone.

The second feature is, for example, when there is link in an email you received, you can tap on that link and make a selection (I forgot the name of it though...doh) where you can open the web page and still be able to view the email at the same time.

Has anyone else spotted any really neat features?

Hover feature is cool. One thing I hate with my note right now is that I cant draw due to the pen touching randomly where i never intended. The hover mode seems to have fixed this issue. You can now see a little dot on the screen where the pen is about to touch. You can also preview videos by hovering over the timeline without stopping the video.

Another feature i was really impressed with was one called "best group pic" (might be the name. Might not). This camera feature lets you take a group pic of a couple of friends. It takes multiple pictures in a short time and if somebody ruined the pic by blinking, sneezing, frowning etc you can replace their individual face with one where they were shown at their best. You can essentially fix a ruined picture. For example if 2 friends out of 5 looked good in the first picture while the other 3 looked bad. The next couple of burst shots might show the 3 friends smiling while the original 2 looking awkward etc. With this new feature you can fix it so all five friends look great in the SAME picture :)

Yes! That's a feature I spotted too. I only saw it in one video though and I can't remember which one it was, and I've seen all of em on YouTube now. nice feature though, I text a lot so it'll be a feature I'll be using.

My overall favourite feature is the 5.5 inch screen. Obvious one to pick but thats the feature that sold me. For someone who uses a phone in the manner that I do this single feature is essential. If it can still fit in the pocket which many note user say it can then its perfect.

I'd like to know of some that might not have been reported on videos yet and I think this thread has perfect timing, considering there will be a UK contingent that will have their phones next week!

Hopefully, we'll see more updates on "cool" features by our UK Phandroid peeps next week.

I read that it fixes it for you.

Sweet! I never saw anyone do that in the english-speaking videos. And what is that tab that he was swiping from the left side? I've never seen that either.

I didn't either. Just saw it today. Can't wait to try it out! Looks like something they added last minute :P Similar to what was in the Note 10.1 I guess?

Very cool feature. Just wish there was an English video that explains what is going on and how it was being done...but being able to re-size the bottom app, while keeping the video the same size...awesome. The more videos I see, the more the Note 2 is becoming the hands-down choice for my next upgrade.

Yea, haven't seen that sidebar app switcher thing anywhere else...

Did you see the TV antenna he pulled out at 8:00? Whaa??

Oh that's because in Korea they use it for a digital tv receiver, so you can watch tv I'm guessing.... bit useless for us in the UK and people in America, since we have so much on demand things, I guess it would be nice to have though..

I totally flipped when he pulled out that antenna and started watch TV. wow.

That tabs on the left side of that video are what comes up on the right side of the Note 10.1. But i can't tell if there is more stuff or not. There are a few things in that video that might already be on my Note 10.1, but i haven't figured out how to do yet. lol

Case in point, in the video he can capture a part of a document and paste it on a S note doc but I have yet to figure out how to do it on my Note 10.1

In the third video link, at time index 3:30 she shows the really fast multishot phototaking of the camea and oultlines which one of the photos taken is best to replace a single person in the frame. Awesome.

The same thing (even faster) at time index 4:30.

Fourth video autofocus is amazing.

man this is way many features on a phone. This may just be the one time that I will actually sit down and read a phone manual from front to back just so I won't miss a feature.

wow, simply wow.

Started reading a little 'bit yesterday and am already a little overwhelmed...LOL. I may not even customize the phone for the first few weeks, just to get used to features that are available.

it would be cool if Sprint got that antenna working with Sprint TV. lol It would totally blow folks mind over here.

Shoot it already has a 80's stylus, why not a 80's antenna lol

I hope we can get the Korean ones here (the US) and they can get the tv antenna to work. That'd be so badass.
