Cool Stuff for the Awe & Any Other Phone

Easiest way to get CWM Recovery.
Root phone using Cydia Impactor.
Download Rashr from Play Store, it's free
Download CWM zip for Awe.
Move recovery.img from the zip file so it's easy to find on the SD card. I use Xplore for moving files, it's also free in Play Store.
Flash recovery.img from SD card using Rashr.
Quick, easy, effective. No need for a PC, except to root.

Download a kernel, flash that from CWM.

Download Xposed Framework; it allows you to use modules like Xprivacy. Xprivacy is a great tool. You can look into it and see if it's for you. It takes some trial and error getting all the settings to work with each app, but it gives you some control over what info apps will have about you.
Xblast module, also found in downloads from Xposed Framework. A great GREAT tool for customizing your phone! If you do things right, you won't even recognize your phone when you're done!

u can also use root master Google it and its in a foreign lounge I used it works great

Use brittnearl's CWM Recovery for the AWE, and extract the recovery.img...

Any one yet this no PC method of flashing recovery? Also what safeguard to use before flashing? Titanium backup? My zte awe is rooted with root master and works great. Have not been able to flash recovery without a computer but I haven't tried in several months. I think I tried flashify. I know I tried rashr b4 but I don't believe it was on my zte. Is this zte boot loader unlocked? How would I check?

I used Rashr. You just have to put recovery.img from the zip on your SD by itself to flash and it to work. If you try flashing the whole enchilada, it won't work, from my experience.
