Installed copilot GPS app on my galaxy tab 2 (4.0.3),when downloading maps (uk & ireland) 202mb it stops at 145mb and restarts download then stops again at 145mb,this continues all the time, have cleared cache and reinstalled but to no avail, any help please.

Can you locate where on your GT2 those data go when they download? Because I would say that there seems to be not enough spare space in that location. So I would try and find that location to see if that could indeed be the case. And why.

You beat me to it. I was going to say something along those lines. Also, check your data/wifi connection and signal strength.

So, if the files are downloaded into the device's internal memory (what capacity is it?) but stop at 145MB it looks like the internal memory is full. Meaning that you will have to clear some space there to accomodate the Copilot app plus data installation (which cannot go onto the SDcard).

As quoted before the internal memory has 3.74gb free so 202mb is not going to affect this, the Tablet has 8gb memory but has only 4.9gb available to store new apps music etc. as the rest of the memory is used for pre installed apps and the o/s.

Hmm. Then something seems to be wonky there.

Have you tried uninstalling Copilot, and its data/updates, powering down the device, removing battery for 30 seconds, replacing battery, reboot, and reinstall Copilot etc. from scratch?
