I've been playing with CoPilot GPS, which is very good. However sometimes if I turn off the screen, e.g. if I've joined a motorway and don't need directions for a while, then when I turn the screen on again it's blank. The home screen and other apps are fine, so there's no problem with my N7, but when I switch back to CoPilot the screen blanks. Even killing the process doesn't fix the problem, and I end up having to restart the N7 to get CoPilot working again.
Has anyone else seen this, and if so does anyone know of a fix? It doesn't happen every time. Yesterday I drove to an appointment and the problem happened on the way there but not on the way home. My N7 is unrooted and stock 4.2.2.
CoPilot is very good. The directions are very clear and their timing is excellent. However I'm reluctant to upgrade from the current free trial to the full product if I'm going to get this problem with any regularity.
