copilot live usa??

I have att avail zte 990. Got it at radio shack.

Going out of town. Got to get uo in about a little less than 8 hours. If you can't reply by then no big deal I'll just buy some data and check the replys.

I bought co pilot live use 5 dollar app. No traffic or anything else. Just the 5 dollar app.

Anyhow everyone here says you don't need data for copilot live. But I can't find the option for this. It onl;y seems to work with data. How do I get it to work without data?

If you downloaded the maps for all of the USA or for the particular states that you need into your phone, then you won't need to use data. You will need to have your phone GPS active & locked onto satellites. I used it today in a rural area without cell service & also searched for POI's in the app database offline. The downloaded maps could be many tens to hundreds of Megabytes, depending on the chosen state(s). Hope you have a fast connection if you are in a hurry.
