Help CoPilot not starting up - help please

My CoPilot8 for andriod [HTC Desire]has suddenly developed a fault after weeks of working perfectly.

When I press the CoPilot app on my phone to start the application, the
initial start-up screen shows as if it is launching the programme, but
the porgramme does not launch.

The screen shot dissapears afer a few seconds leaving a the CoPilot symbol up in top task bar.

Another thing......when the initail start-up screen is up the small crcular icon in the middle [which used to appear], no longer does.

Can anyone help?

What happens if you drag the notification bar down and click on CoPilot. Does it launch the app then?

No it doesn't....it starts the startup screen again but after a few seconds that disapears

Mine did that. I had to uninstall and reinstall CPL. I then had a parameter storage problem and had to re-download an image of the SDCard directory (link provided by CPL support).

Have you tried clearing the CoPilot cache and data (OK, so you'll lose what's stored but it can't get any worse).

Settings / Manage Applications / CoPolot / Clear Cache then Clear Data
