Help Coping pics from windows to the phone.

When I copy them to the phone, they don't show up. I tried Computer\Nexus 5\Internal storage\DCIM\Camera, and Computer\Nexus 5\Internal storage\Pictures, but nothing is there on the phone.

It's the media scanner on 4.4, seems to be very intermittent/poor.

Try rebooting the phone. If that doesn't work, install 'Rescan SD'. It'll crash, but it seemed to work for me.

Sorry to hear that. Maybe it wasn't that that worked for me then. I tried lots of things, and eventually they showed up. Perhaps it was just chance and the media scanner got its act together. Not much use to you I'm afraid.
