copy email and paste in another email

[Android Question]

I have a lepan ii tablet and want to copy part of a yahoo email and paste it to a new yahoo email. I've tried pressing and holding where I want to start and highlighting the whole section to copy. However, when I hit copy and click on a new email to paste it in, nothing shows up.
Is there something I'm missing?

Hi

Usually there is a clipboard icon as part of the android keyboard. When you select and copy text it goes to the clipboard. Place the cursor where you want to paste, press the clipboard icon on the keyboard and select the item you want to paste. (Not all apps automatically paste from the clipboard when the cursor is long pressed)

Hope this helps
