Hi, I've an ATRIX 2, and I'm wanting to copy my SD card over to my PC via the USB connection. I hook up, select the "use as mass storage device" option, and start copying files over.
But then, when I try to open any file on the PC, they're all corrupted!
But then, I realize, it's probably because I have encryption turned on in my Android system settings.
I'd hate to have to turn off encryption (although, I suppose there's no reason why I couldn't just for the copy, then turn it back on. Hopefully that won't screw anything up.) I did some searching, and of course came across using FTP Droid and similar apps--but they're all wireless options. Which also isn;t a bad thing, but transfers that way take a LONG time and for some reason, the connection will often crash on me.
Anyway, I have a couple of workaround options, so it's not a huge deal--but if anyone knows a way I can do the full SD card data transfer over USB, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks.
