Copy-Paste #s??

hey guys just wanted to ask how can i copy a number from my msgs,. like when someone texts me with a # thats not saved in my phonebook,.. except the fact that i can save the #,.

i just want to copy and paste it for another use ,. like use # or copy to clipboard something like that

CHEERS TIA :)

If someone sent you a number in text, just press the number, then "add to contacts". If you want to copy the number to your clipboard, press "copy message text".
Now, if you want to copy a word, sentence or number that isn't blue (a link?) afaik you have to long-press the text, and copy the entire text. Open a popup note, then shave of what you dont need.

very simple man, if someone texts you a number for a friend on an IM, then all you do is click on the number and it will prompt you to either add it as a contact or call the number??

or

someone texted you with a number not on your contacts? then the same thing it should ask you to add it to your contacts?

thanks for the replies just figured it out,, just now lols,... @ceva321 yah man i know that , but that wasent really what i was askin ,. anyways thanks for the reply :D

well tell us .... HOW DO DO IT?? don't leave us hanging here :)

ok heres the catch.,.

the # up there yah you can save it or send a text or something.. But what i want is to copy it so i can paste in another app or something; so i can use the specific # ,.(get it right??) remembered on my old phone went to logs then copy # to dial screen then i get to copy paste it WALAH.,. figured it out

Right, thats what you meant. I've been wondering about this myself, and the thing I've been doing up until now is pressing the number -> add as new contact -> copy the number in the contact-creation screen. Or just open a popup-note and write it down there.
