corperate sync on my droid

Lurker
so I work for best buy, and am trying to add my work email to my list of accounts and we use outlook express, now before my droid I had a Blackberry and I had no problem getting my work emails on my phone, now that im on the droid I cant seem to figure out how to get my acct to sync with the phone its on a secure server but it gives me an error that says "the server address should be correctly formated"

If I get rid of the https:// it attempts to connect and then fails... any thoughts?

thats not your server address, thats the web address. your server address is something different. This is really something you should ask your co-workers about, or whoever handles email/IT there.

"Outlook Express" really doesn't help. We need to know the type of mail server. Outlook Express is your mail client and it supports several different types of servers. Additionally, your device isn't going to connect via Outlook Express so it's really not relevant.

No. You're wrong and you're right. The server address should be something like https://mail.yourdomain.com. That's the address he needs to use. What that address is is something he needs to ask his IT department about.

thanks for the replys, ive asked our cell phone sales people and the computer techs and they dont know... im trying to use the same secure server address that i had to use for the server address on my blackberry... thats why i dont understand why it isnt working...
