Correct Syntax to Create Symbolic Links?

The stupid Amazon MP3 Android application does not support putting songs on the SDCARD directly. I want to trick it by making the Flash folder it uses a symbolic link to the SDCARD.

Specifically, I would like the folder on the flash (which stupidly gets the name in Android /sdcard):

/sdcard/amazonmp3

to be a symbolic link going to a folder with same name on the root of the sdcard. /extStdCard is not working and I don't know enough unix to know how to properly name this target.

From a terminal emulator command line, what command do I need to issue to accomplish this result? I assume it is something like:

ln -s /??????/amazonmp3 /sdcard/amazonmp3

Also, is there any graphical file manager application for Android that directly supports creating symbolic links?

As a follow up to original question, is there any application that can create a symbolic link on the Android file system without requiring us to root the phone? It's awfully strange that they let ordinary users rename folders on the root of the file system but wouldn't let us create symbolic links to folders on other file systems.

Without rooting the phone, is there any PC-based development environment that would let me mount the flash drive of the phone as its own file system and create a symbolic link on it, so when Android is booted it would use the link on the Flash?
