Cost of a Macbook Pro replacement in your country ?

Just broke my MBP screen and damn ! They charge Rs.42800($880 USD)

I had no choice but to replace the same !!

Just had a question if it was the same in other countries as well !!

How old is the MBP? If it's one of the newer retina screen ones, worth it.

If it's one of the older ones like the one I had, which was four years old, where the main-board failed. Price was around that, about $900. Decided it wasn't worth it, and just bought a PC laptop, because there's nothing in OS X that I particularly needed.
