Root could microSD be used as a virtual Ram Chip

I was wondering if this would be possible. Since an microSD card is not technically required with this phone would it be possible to make the phone think its extra Ram? I figured since they are both Flash Memory this could be possible with a kernel update?

or maybe its just a stupid idea.

if a cm7 rom comes out for this phone, and you use a2sd, you could make a swap aprtition that is basically a virtual ram partition ont he sd card.. however the sd card isnt fast enough to be correctly used for this purpose and in most cases it hinders performance

Swap is only used for offloading programs that are resident in memory but not active. It wouldn't give you much of a performance hit if any unless your phone is constantly swapping programs in/out of memory.
