My Nexus 4 occasionally and sporadically shows me a notification that my gmail password is wrong in the build in email app.
I have used an Application specific password to log in.
This password works on PC, and also worked on the phone when I first used it.
I have also tried generating a new password and the same thing happens there as well.
Did anyone encounter this? Any ideas on how to fix or debug it besides disabling the two-step verification in gmail?
