Could not synchronise

Hi,

I keep getting the Could not synchronise message which is really annoying. Does anyone know what I can do to stop this?

Delete the account, then re-enter the details and try again. This happened to me once before but just re-doing the details fixed it for me.

I had trouble with SE sync on Friday with my son's phone, he has my old C902 and I forgot to delete the sync so he ended up with all my contacts and all his. Anyway I wanted to set him up with his own sync account and then edit the contacts to get rid of mine. The system kept going down or not completing or losing the page on the internet side of it and on the phone it failed a few times - grrrrrr! After much persistence I got there in the end but it took a lot more effort, refreshing and resyncing than normal.

So in short I would say keep trying... their system is 'quirky' and that is being kind!

I can't sync with google and cannot delete the account without doing a factory reset. Is there a known problem with Google Sync and x10 since the 2.1 upgrade ?

Not that I know - It works perfectly for me. When I upgraded to 2.1 I set up my Google account and all my contacts came over to my phone with no issues at all.

I've had sporadic problems with the sync. Check your account details, maybe re-enter your password and force a manual sync. You can also go onto the sony ericsson sync site and add your phone again..that helped me one of the times i had the problem.

I've had absolutley zero luck and very frustrated with this phone. I've updated the OS (twice) and reset the account so many times my fingers are sore but alas....could not sycnchronise with Sony Ericsson.

All I can assume is that the login credentials that you use for the web page vs. the phone account should be the same right?
