Lurker
Well I am a newly converted apple user and for the most part happy with the switch. I have however run into some problems, My first S3 was perfect except it would randomly stop sending or receiving data on wifi or 4g until I restarted it. I tried factory reseting it 3 times to no avail and gave att a call. Of course this is where it starts to go down hill haha After explaining to them my problems they tell me that I am 6 days out of the 30 day in store return so they sent me a refurb phone well the refurb had a messed up power and home button. After another 30 minutes on the phone they send me out another one, this ones power button is fine but the home button feels rough when pushing it in and makes a grinding noise. So after an hour on the phone all they can do is send me another to see if that is any better.

TL/DR: I am now on a second refurb with att sending me the third as I type as they all had their own defects. ATT isnt being very helpful besides telling me to try the next one.

So after all that I am just wondering if anyone had any advice as to how I should handle this situation. I dont want a different phone I just want to go into a store and get a new phone that works like my original one did (besides the data issues)

Thanks for taking the time :)

Did you purchase one of those optional protection plans or get phone insurance? Usually those come with some sort of No Lemon policy.

If not then I'm not sure that there's very much you can do other than hope your next unit it amazing unfortunately.

I don't know if it's too late for you at add insurance, but if it isn't too late you should add insurance, wait for a couple weeks, then file a claim. I'm newly converted over from iPhone 4 as well and I don't usually add insurance to phones, but I made sure to add insurance to this phone when I bought it. Hopefully everything works out for you.
