Help Couldn't install on USB storage or SD card

I get the titled error occasionally when I try installing some apps such as Shredder Chess or Wolfram Alpha. I have a Google Nexus 2013 with Kitkat (4.4). Is there any way around this error or just wait for the developers of the apps to update to Kitkat compatibility?

Assuming it's a version error, and not a bug in KK itself or a problem with the device, all you can do is wait.

If you have an ANDROID phone,load the apps on your phone & make a copy using APK EXTRACTOR from the GOOGLE PLAY STORE.
Then,just send the apk's to your gmail/email & access via the tablet & download/sideload the apps.

I've had success w/this on other tablets where I had similar issues,YMMV.

I have since updated to 4.4.2 and sideloaded Flash. One of those, I assume the latter, solved the install issue. So I think you are correct that I had to wait.
