Why do I keep getting the Couldn't sign in error?

Hello everyone, this is my question to you all. I've tried everything I could think of without changing the firmware. I've reset it to factory settings, I've changed the date and time to a day, and a hour ahead for a minute then changed it back. Still I keep getting the "Couldn't sign in error" message when I try to sign into my google account. Please help.
