What phone do you have? Are you rooted? Have you installed updates lately?

[Xin08]

I have s7 edge. No, i didnt do anything. Last night i tried to reformatted my phone bec. I am also getting this system isnt responding message. So i reinstalled my messenger. Now my phone is fine but still the messenger is still the same.

What messenger app is this? Facebook messenger? And when you say multitasking, did you mean recent apps list or multiwindow?

[Xin08]

Yes facebook messenger. And yes multiwindow..

[chanchan05]

As far as I know, Facebook Messenger doesn't support multiwindow. There is also no documentation I can find that it does. Basically, it will stop if you try to do that. Besides FB messenger has the chat bubbles.
