Couple more questions

How the heck do I disable them? I could have swore I found it on my first S5, and now everywhere I look I can't seem to find anything to disable them

My second question is with smart remote and the lock screen, how to I get it off the lock screen when I no longer wish to use the app? I went into the application manager and stopped it from running, but on the lock screen it was still there.. So then I disabled the app, and it was still on the screen. Lastly I restarted the phone, and of course that got rid of it... But there must be a better way than restarting your phone

Second question, I believe there is a setting in the app itself to have it display in the lock screen, or it's in the general settings of the phone.

The notification badges, the little number that pops up when you have unread messages, or new notifications on fb.. they are more of a annoyance to me than anything.

when you go into the smart remote app, go into menu, settings, and there is a check box, that you can disable from the lock screen, as well as notification.

on the badges.. im assuming you mean the widgets. certain apps dont have a shortcut icon, but rather a widget now. not all of them. which ones are you ahving the issue with?

As far as badges I am talk on regular apps, when I get a text, when I get a notification on fb, when i get a message on fb, if I miss a call, etc.. When those happens a little circle appears on the app icon that shows the number of how ever many new notifications I have, just like the iphone.

It's an orange circle with a number in it in the upper right hand corner of the app icon, on regular apps, not widgets. I have a screen shot that I will upload shortly to show you what I am referring too.
