Hi yall,
Im Melvin and I'm new here. Have my SGSIII a day or 8 and I like it allot. (Coming from a blackberry 4year!)
Now I have a few questions and maybe you can help me.
1. in the status bar at the top (if I say it good) have a button "synchronize", should this always be on?
when I turn it off I still get my email from within? other options such as contacts, calendar sync, etc. I have no need for using those things.
2. more general question: using the phone troughout the day (little browsing, BT in car mp3 stream and handsfree, some bells, some games, WhatsApp throughout the day etc) and when lucky i get like 20 hours from it before it dies with like 2% battery to go. Is this normal or do I maybe have a fault battery?
how long do you do with the unit on a full battery?
I have saving mode on since first got it, and last night juice defender downloaded and will see what it does today but I am curious about your experience.
3. In my BB I could indicate whether the unit could use GPRS and / or also 3G.
Is this also possible on the S3? I've looked hard but couldnt find anything in the settings.
now it always picks up everything signal what it finds then GPRS or 3G then H or H +, all fine and useful for browsing etc idd but I do not need that all day and would save allot of energy.
Thanks in advance!
