couple questions

i moved to S3 from a captivate and am still learning... a couple things that driving me crazy. when i clear history and kill web browser and later i go back in it pulls up where i left before clearing everythung. second, when using the phone it does something similar. i want to close out of the phone from calling and when i hit the icon again iwant it to bring up dial pad by default not what i used last.

any suggestions??

How exactly are you killing the browser? Maybe you're just hitting the home button? You either close the tab or press back until the browser app turns off. If you're just pressing the home button, it doesn't exit the app and the device just remembers where you left off.
 
using advanced task killer but evidently it is not working! i did go through running applications and killed it and then it works. is there a better app killer available?
 
the only thing i like to kill is the internet so the next time i use it will open to my home screen instead of the last page. adv task killer does not kill it anyhow. my captivate had a task manager built in and was awesome. wish the s3 did!

Close all tabs and then exit the app via the back button.
