Help Couple Quick Questions

So I'm essence I understand that Lollipop was released for the Nexus 7....I havent received the update yet and wasnt sure if i shoud root it....Ive tried and tried however its not showing up.....

Suggestions?

You don't need to root it. Just download the factory image and flash it with fastboot. Or download Wug's Nexus Root Toolkit and flash it that way.

where can i get the factory image? I checked: https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images but they only have the wifi or mobile version...I have the wifi/3g variant and wasnt sure what to use. XDE developers could have it too?

I'm sorry I didn't know you had that version. It hasn't been released yet. Only the wifi version has received lollipop.
