Root CPU related question

i wanted to try to downclock the CPU on the phone with SetCPU to see if i will get any battery improvements but i saw that i have already options within the Oxygen ROM
so i don't need SetCPU right?

and second i have set the CPU minimum 250 and maximum 1000 ON DEMAND governor (maybe it was set on default like that i don't remember)

is this stable ?

and third is there a way to undervolt and if yes will it make any difference ?

Oxygen is undervalued by default, at least compared to the Sense ROMs. Yeah, that profile is "stable", I personally just use the Oxygen CPU controls though.

I prefer set CPU. I actually took CPU config out of my rom. Have a read of my kernel info thread (Via my signature) as it explains undervolting.

isn't those options took from setcpu ?
i mean it does the same job
i monitored through cpu widget to see the real frequency and i saw that it goes to 250 when idle

but i couldn't find nothing about voltage
i will have to take a look at your faq Suroot
