What should I expect for CPU info and results from a Superpad ( clone SuperPai)
Sold as 1Ghz, most CPU benchmarking tests show the bogomips results of 791

Aside from looking at the chip, how could I tell the real value for the CPU?

791 bogmips is about right. The CPU is capable running at 1GHz clock speed but Bogomips are not the same as clock speed.

The CPU is in fact a IMAPX220 as the 200 does not support a gps, all the utilities just report the class of processor.

I guess the question is, where is the spec for the CPU. I'm a kick the tires sort so like to see the vlue I should be getting is the value I was promised.

Is there a tech spec on that CPU to indicate its range?
