Help Cracked Screen Colors

So I managed to crush my already cracked Samsung Galaxy Avant by falling and landing on it in my pocket. It's not the cracks I care about, though. The entire bottom half of my screen is covered in discoloration and horizontal/vertical lines. I can't see anything that appears on the bottom half. Is this easily fixable or is the screen just too damaged? If so, is there any modifying I can do myself or will I need to get it repaired (or just get a new phone)?

It would be extremely difficult to do on your own. My trusted site doesn't have that device listed at all. A professional repair would probably cost more than the $89 the device is sold for.
