Android Question

My mom dropped our new 8 inch google android tablet. it only has a few cracks in it but it wont detect our fingers or anything when we try to swipe and unlock it. Would replacing the screen fix that? If so, how much would it cost and where should I go? Who should I contact? Help.

Contact Google and find out who they recommend in your area. How much it will cost depends on who does it. It's not like a quart of milk that costs about the same anywhere in the country. Some good shops will charge very little, some people who barely know how to replace a battery will rob you blind.

Get a few names from Google (of shops who won't void the warranty by working on it) and get a few estimates.

Oh, and yes, replacing the glass and the touch screen will fix the problem. (Unless you see nothing on the screen, then the whole thing, glass, touch screen and LCD screen, have to be replaced.)
