Hi,
I recently started getting a problem with my Galaxy S2. When calling someone, I could hear them fine on my handset, but they could hear a crackling sound over the top of my voice from their end.
When I put the phone on speaker, this disappears for them and they can hear me perfectly.
I read about the problem on the web and discovered that I can turn off the noise reduction setting. When I do this it is fine and the other person can hear me perfectly.
The reason for my post is that all the other advice on the web about this problem is to do with having cases on the phone, well I don't have a case on it at all.
I have also looked at ways to permanently switch off noise reduction so I dont have to do it every time but I don't understand what the posts are talking about with respect to 'rooting' and 'roms'.
Thanks
