Crappy battery!!!

Something is wrong. I would head to a store and ask that they give you a replacement new in the box. I've been getting 2 days out of my battery since the update with Exchange email pushing all day long.
Maybe someone threw in a regular Razr battery into your phone. I would exchange it.
3rd day with the phone:
80% battery (8h 50m 17s)
Display 38% (1 hour 5 minutes)
wi-fi 19%
android os 15%
phone idle 6%
cell standby 6%
text messaging 5%
some other stuff...
Not heavy use by any means. All the actual data use was not on the wi-fi. Lasting a really long time though! Unplugged this morning around 730am and it got me through my day on campus and now I'm into my 8 hour shift at work starting at 80%. Should easily get me through until my shifts over at 1130pm with like... 50% and 16+ hours off charger.

Yeah something is definitely not right. Im gonna go to the store tomorrow and try to get a new one. I took my phone off the charger 2 hours ago and im already down to 80%. So im averaging about 10% an hour which is not good for this phone. I wiped the phone this morning and im running it with no apps other then the preinstalled ones so its definitely not an app I installed. I hope the store has one to give me. All the stores around here have been sold out for a while now. We shall see

Interesting....My Razr (not maxx) did the same thing. It was dumping the battery charge at 10% an hour, or faster, with nothing running. I exchanged it for a MAXX today, so we'll see how this goes.

Ohhh, did you get the deal where if you had a razr, you could get a maxx at upgrade price? Then sell razr for profit?
Now mind u I did have data turned iff most of the time but I still used the phone fairly heavy I got 32 hrs before my batt hit 20%. U did get a crappy phone

I never heard of that deal. Tech. support said they wanted to exchange my phone, so I asked if I could just pay extra, and get the MAXX. They had to get a manager to OK it, as they dont normally do this.

Yeah Im gonna try tomorrow. If they dont have any in stock Im not sure what Im gonna do. When I got this replacement they wanted to take my phone back and ship me a new one but I sold my Tbolt when I got the Maxx so I dont have another phone to use anymore

There was a post on xda, I linked to it from here or just the razr forum. Someone got a deal in store, then others reported it, and then a few of us called customer service and they had the deal on file (they had to search for a little while).
Not sure if it's still going on. Let us know if it's still going on!

Ok, Thats not the deal I got. They allowed me to exchange my phone, and pay the difference for the maxx. Not really a "deal", but a good way to take care of the customer, as I was outside the exchange window.
Its called Battery Left
Something was wrong with the OS. It should not be using that much battery. Reboot and it should fix it. I have this problem every once in awhile with my DX. Not sure what causes it but a simple reboot fixes it.
