Help Crashes and Freezes

Over the last week my Desire has increasingly become unstable with the screen intermittently freezing for secs/mins on end.

Entering any data has become an issue whether thats texting or entering the unlock password as the cursor moves all over the place and the screen scrolls around.

And it wont switch off because the screen freezes.

Rebooted and did erase data but it hasn't helped.
Any suggestions gratefully received.

Could try upgrade to latest version. You're on an old edition.

Upgrading from such an old version may take you through several upgrades. Just try how things are using the first upgrade.. no need to go to 2.33.161.2 if the phone still has an isssue.. (that build has a separate prob for me!)
