Hi everyone,
A few months ago, I decided to root my Atrix using ... uhm I can't remember which method but I had to write a few lines of code on the computer.
Anyway, the root went smooth as silk.
A few weeks ago, my phone has taken on a life of it's own. I only have 2 apps from the Amazon App Store; the rest of my stuff is Android Market, and none of it is stupid s*it, mostly productivity software that I've paid for.
Anyway, here's some of the things it's doing:
1.) Screen stops responding on a regular basis. I have to lock and unlock the phone to bring it back. Doesn't matter if it's in an app or on the home screens.
2.) Keyboard goes whack, and starts typing letters I don't want (like one above where my finger is) or just sits on a letter and repeats until I lock the screen. Upon unlocking, the behavior stops.
3.) Notification bar sometimes won't "slide" down and will go halfway down the screen with no way of retracting it. Locking and unlocking does the trick.
I have a virus protection program on here (Dr. Web Light) and Advanced Task Killer. The VP doesn't find any viruses, and I have ATK to kill everything except Music ... what gives?
Again, I am rooted, and don't download moronic apps. Virus, hack, or jacked up phone? Help! Also, trying to avoid a factory restore but will as a last resort.
