When I crate a new folder in the gallery to put pics into, it automatically puts that folder onto the phone storage. Is there any way to create a new folder on the SD card with the phone or just from the PC?

Hi
Open MyFiles
select All files
navigate to a folder in ExtSdCard (the SD card)
press menu button and the Create folder.
Then in your camera app change the storage location. Maybe consider installing something like ES File Explorer which is a much better file manager
