Create my own XM?

Hello All,

I'm in the process of ripping all my CDs onto my computer. What I want to do, is upload them all somewhere online and use an app or program that lets me create my own playlists based on whatever criteria I choose. Then I want to stream the music through my phone, essentially doing the same thing that my XM does now.

Then possibly, something else I wouldn't mind doing, is uploading movies online and watching them on my phone as well.

Is this even possible?

Would AllShare do all this for me? Or is there another program that I could look into?

Any ideas or suggestions are welcome.

For music there are many ways to do what you want. Two very good options are either uploading your files to Google Music and then using Google Music app or by going the Audiogalaxy route.

Both of these should work for music.

Videos I'm not too sure of. I'm sure someone else will chime in with suggestions.

yeah i use google music too...just upload all your files (up to 20k) to their server and you can stream it on your phone. the only downside is it took me about 5 days to upload about 10k songs.

haven't heard of anything like that for movies/video though.
